CJP noticed the attack on the Hindu temple of Rahim Yar Khan

A statement said that Pakistan’s Chief Justice Gulzal Ahmed noticed on Thursday that a Hindu temple in the village of Bhong in the Rasin Yar Khan district of Punjab was attacked by a group of alleged mobs.

After the chief guarantor of the Pakistan Hindu Council, Dr. MNA Ramesh Kumar Vankwani, today called on the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Islamabad to discuss the issue of the temple attack, the senior judge became aware of the incident.

Regional police spokesman Ahmed Nawaz Chima said that the rangers have been deployed in the troubled area and the situation has been brought under control.

Cheema confirmed that the suspect was a minor, saying that he currently has no information about his mental health.

There are reports of some ancient money disputes between Hindu and Muslim groups in the area, which are said to be the real cause of the unrest.
