Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Umar Ata Bandial’s consultation with fellow judges on formation of judicial commission to probe the failed assassination attempt on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan’s life and slain Journalist Arshad Sharif’s murder case has entered final phase.
According to the sources, CJP will write a letter to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif within two to three days in this regard.
Sources claimed that all the Islamabad judges have been consulted; adding, Justice Faez Isa and Justice Ayesha A. Malik were taken on board on Monday.
They also disclosed that both of them will continue hearing cases from Monday after they return to Islamabad as Justice Isa was out of Islamabad and Justice Ayesha, out of country.
Earlier, PM had asked CJP to probe into the murder of slain journalist Arshad Sharif and failed assassination attempt on Imran Khan’s life through two letters.
