The new generation of rising golf stars has more friends than enemies. I often see Jordan Spieth and his friends Justin Thomas, Ricky Fowler and Smiley Kaufman in each other’s Instagram stories.
But there is a competition among the budding generation, and that is the competition between Brooks Koepka and Bryson de Chambord. Maybe this is more like a discord—whatever you call it. This PGA Tour The game rhythm rules were updated in January. Any player whose shooting time exceeds 120 seconds will be counted as an extra long shooting time. August 2019: DeChambeau admits that Koepka will “kick my ass” in battle
on Sirius XM Radio, DeChambeau and Koepka are on the same show with Michael Collins. They recently met and talked on the practice green of a tournament, and things seemed very friendly. When De Chambeau was asked about this, he put himself in his place.

July 2020: Koepka attacks Dechambeau with “steroid” tweets
When the PGA Tour recovered from the coronavirus suspension, De Chambeau looked as strong as ever and played farther than any player in tour history. This led to doubts whether DeChambeau’s swelling was all protein shakes and muscle activation as he claimed.
Koepka is also involved. This time he adopted a retweet method, using Kenny Powers GIF to attract DeChambeau.
After winning a game in September, DeChambeau was asked about the increase in his game duration.

In the first round of the World Golf Championships-FedEx St. Jude Invitational, De Chambord hit a tree with a ball. Because there was a red ant near the ball, he demanded to be free from the spot. The request was denied.
Koepka apparently heard the request, and the next day, he drove in a similar place. After lining up on his ball, he walked away and said to his caddy: “There is an ant.”
After a pause, Koepka clarified that he was joking. Nick Faldo commented on the radio: “Bryson will definitely cause some entertainment.”
May 2021: Koepka reacts to De Chambeau’s comments in an interview
Koepka appeared to be interrupted by DeChambeau in an interview after the second round of the 2021 PGA Championship when he was discussing the Ocean Course at Kiawah Island Golf Resort in South Carolina.

It is difficult to see from the video what DeChambeau said caused Koepka’s reaction. But based on a response to the original tweet from someone who claimed to be there, after Koepka said he found the course “difficult to read”, he said “maybe you should put it on the right line”.
In the next 48 hours, the dispute between DeChambeau and Koepka spread to social media.
After NFL quarterback Aaron Rogers was announced as DeChambeau’s partner in the “game” with Phil Mickelson and Tom Brady, Koepka made the first goal.
When DeChambeau responded to his “free life” in Koepka’s mind, Koepka shared a shot of a fan calling DeChambeau “Brooksie” during the PGA Championship practice session.
