Islamabad: According to people familiar with the matter, Prime Minister Imran Khan, who was originally scheduled to visit the UK next month, was postponed due to domestic security, politics and regional situation.

At the invitation of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, the Prime Minister is expected to leave for the United Kingdom in the first week of July.

According to sources, the prime minister decided to postpone his visit on the grounds that he wanted to pay attention to some important issues.

On June 7, Prime Minister Johnson had a phone conversation with the Pakistani Foreign Minister and invited him to visit Britain.

The Prime Minister of Pakistan also plans to watch a cricket match between Pakistan and England.

Sources have said that the Prime Minister may watch Pakistan’s match against England in Cardiff on July 8 or at London’s Rod Stadium on July 10.
