Karachi: The Karachi Intermediate Education Committee announced on Tuesday that the revised timetable for the first grade exam was postponed due to the province-wide lockdown.

According to the newly released timetable, the exam was originally scheduled to start on August 7, but now it will start on August 23 and last until September 2.

The Intermediate Committee stated that starting from September 3, improvements will be made to the division, special opportunities and short-term subject examinations.

Due to the rapidly spreading Delta variant causing an increase in coronavirus cases, the province has imposed a lockdown. However, the Sindh provincial government relaxed the restrictions on August 9.
