Cricketer Azam Khan, who was previously excluded from the second and third Twenty20 Internationals due to a head injury, can now participate in the remaining games against the West Indies.

The 22-year-old batsman was injured after being hit on the head by a ball in a practice before the second game of the four T20I series.

Azam Khan, son of former Pakistan captain Moin Khan, wore a helmet when he was shot. In addition, he did not lose consciousness, but as a precaution, the team’s doctor Riaz Ahmed took him to the hospital.

After observing him and conducting the necessary medical examinations, the neurosurgeon allowed him to leave the hospital. Subsequently, the body of the national team also reassessed his physical condition and announced that he is suitable for the upcoming match against the host.

According to the batting strategy decided by the team management, Azam Khan joined Fakhar Zaman and Mohammad Hafeez as part of the intermediate sequence, and Sharjeel Khan and Mohammad Rizwan started the team.

After making his debut during the England Tour last month, Azam Khan was unable to perform with a bat as expected.

The confidence to win in the second face-off inspired the Celtics, and their goal is to win the short format series in the final match held today at Providence Stadium in Guyana.

Earlier, rain washed through two games in the series. Pakistan won the only possible game, leading 1-0.

Pakistan played 12-3 against the West Indies in the T20I.

The two teams will also clash in two test series starting on August 12th and 20th.
