Atlanta’s NASCAR lineup: starting order, pole position for Sunday’s game, no qualifying

Must Read

The starting lineup for the NASCAR Cup series to be held at the Atlanta Motor Speedway on Sunday was determined by applying the statistical formula used by NASCAR in most of the 2021 series.

NASCAR returned to the game after qualifying at Road America last weekend.

The driver’s starting position for Quaker State 400 (3:30 PM EST; NBCSN, TSN, PRN, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio) is based on four factors:

  • The driver’s position at the end of a race (25%)
  • Owner’s last race finish ranking (25%)
  • Team owner points ranking (35%)
  • The fastest lap of the previous race (15%)

NASCAR will only qualify and practice for the eight cup series in the 2021 season. The rest of the courses will be held at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road circuit in August, and the end-of-season Championship 4 will be held in Phoenix in November.

The following is the starting lineup for the NASCAR Cup series that took place on the 1.5-mile oval track at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Sunday. There is no qualifying lineup for this lineup.

Who won the pole position of the Atlanta NASCAR race?

Chase Elliott will start from pole position on his home circuit. The Hendrick Motorsports driver achieved a landslide victory at Road America on Independence Day. This victory was his second victory of the season, both on the road court. The 2020 series champion is looking for his first victory in Atlanta; in six professional games on the track, he has won 1 top five and 4 top 10 places.

Kyle Busch will be outside Elliott in the front row. Despite starting from the rear, Busch ranks third on Road America. He will seek his third victory of the season.

Series points leader Denny Hamlin (Denny Hamlin) will be ranked third. Hamlin has not won this season, but he did enter the top 10 14 times in the first 20 games. However, his lead is only 3 points higher than Kyle Larson. Larson will be ranked sixth.

NASCAR’s starting lineup in Atlanta

NASCAR used mathematical formulas to set the starting lineup for the race held at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Sunday. This is the Quaker State 400 provided by Wal-Mart without qualifying. Thirty-seven drivers participated in the race.
