Islamabad United defeated Peshawar Zalmi by 16 points in the sixth high-scoring match of the Pakistan Premier League at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Thursday.

Zalmi faces the intimidating goal of 248 runs set by Manchester United in a high-scoring game.

Peshawar lost Hazratullah Zazai and Imam ul Haq at the beginning of the chase. Two batsmen were fired in a bowling match of Akif Javid and were caught by Hassan Ali.

Kamran Akmal hit 53 with 31 and kept Zalmi in the game, but the pressure of running speed made him lose his wicket. Akmal was caught by Iftikhar Ahmed because he tried to hit Hussain Talat from the last ball of the ninth inning to score six points.

In the 12th game, Akif Javed disbanded Rovman Powell, took his third wicket and left Peshawar four behind.

And Shoaib Malik completed his half-century in the next 26 goals. In the same game, Shelfarn Rutherford struck out Zafar Gohar four times in a row, allowing Peshawar to exceed 150.

It turned out to be very dangerous Rutherford was sent off by Hassan Ali in the final goal of the 15th game. He left after hitting 8 goals 29.

However, Manchester United knows that if they want to win the game, they need to remove Malik and limit his powerful shots.

In the 17th game, Talat sacked Malik, making the game favorable to Islamabad.

Usman Khawaja then handed the 18th to Zafar Gohar, and Wahab Riaz and Umaid Asif took him to the cleaners. In his race, Peshawar Zalmi also ran 200 times.

Gohar exceeded 19 points and left Peshawar 38 points away from the goal. The penultimate round of the game was handed over to Hassan Ali, who ran 15 times.

The costly round meant that Peshawar had to score 23 of the last six goals.

The final game of the game was handed over to Akif Javed, Islamabad’s most efficient bowler. The young man successfully defended the total points, allowing Manchester United to defeat Zalmi with 16 consecutive victories.

Peshawar ended their round with 232/6, making it the third highest overall score in PSL history.

Number of games of Islamabad United

Earlier, Usman Khawaja’s century helped Manchester United score 247 runs, the highest score in PSL history.

Colin Munro and Kavaja in the opening game set the tone for Manchester United early and brought Islamabad to 98 games before Munro was cleanly hit by Shoaib Malik in the 10th game.

Manchester United’s score at the end of 10 games was 99//1, and Zarmi hoped that the wicket would help them slow down the pace of the game in Islamabad.

But Asif Ali, who was sent out early, seized the opening opportunity and shot 14 goals for 43 and was sent off in the 13th inning.

Asif’s blitz was so deadly that Manchester United reached 150 in the 14th game. At the end of the 18th, they had completed 200 runs.

After Asif was fired, Manchester United sent Brandon King to continue to sue Zalmi. The King’s 22 goals and 46 provided excellent support for Khawaja, who completed his century in the final game.

The Australian ended the game with 105 innings. And Malik and Samin Gur are the only ticket inspectors in Peshawar.

Earlier, Zalmi’s captain Wahab Riaz won the game and chose the first table player to play against Islamabad.
