Tokyo: After qualifying for the final round of the javelin competition at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Pakistan’s star athlete Arshad Nadeem asked the nation to pray for his success in the competition.

In the video message, Arshad Nadeem said that he was eligible to participate in the final round of the javelin competition under the grace of Allah Almighty. He thanked the people across the country for their prayers and support.

The Pakistan javelin thrower vowed to hit his best in the final round and hoped that he could successfully win a medal for the country.

“I work hard day and night for this large event,” he said.

Arshad Nadeem will play in the final round on August 7.

Complimenting Arshad Nadeem, his coach Fayyaz Bukhari said that recent achievements have increased his confidence. Buhari said he is confident that Arshad Nadeem will perform well in the final. He also thanked the country for supporting Nadim.

At the same time, Akram Sahi of the Pakistan Athletics Federation called Arshad Nadeem to congratulate him on qualifying for the final round of the javelin competition.
