New Delhi: Apple finally introduced three new payment models for App Store and iTunes users in India. New models include Union Payment Interface (UPI), RuPay and Netbanking.
According to Mashable, this means that Apple users can now use domestic payment systems and international payment systems such as credit and debit cards when recharging the Apple Store.
The balance can also be used to pay for streaming services such as Netflix and Amazon Prime, as well as Apple’s own services such as Apple Arcade and Apple One.
For those who have never used the RuPay card, it facilitates real-time electronic payments for all banks and financial institutions in India, just like Visa or Mastercard, which was launched in 2012.
At the same time, the instant payment network UPI was launched in 2016 and has seen substantial growth in India. Players such as PayTM, PhonePe, Google Pay and most recently WhatsApp dominate this field.
It is worth mentioning that Android’s Google Play store has allowed UPI, RuPay and online banking to pay for apps, games, music, movies, etc. in the country for a long time. Please also read: Good news for electric car owners!Construction of new charging stations in Delhi, Mumbai and other subways
