Lahore: A three-person delegation from the Narcotics Control Force (ANF) visited IGP Punjab Inam Ghani at the Central Police Station on Thursday.

The delegation led by Force Commander ANF Brig Rashid Minhas included Deputy Director of Operations Maj Waqar and Assistant Director Haroon. At the meeting, Brigadier General Rashid Minhas praised Punjab Provincial Police investigators for their expertise in preparing drug trafficking cases, and said that Punjab Provincial Police’s efforts to eradicate and drug trafficking are also commendable.

Talking about the Punjab Police’s IT project, he said that the Punjab Police is undoubtedly the country’s largest police force in the use of IT and the most advanced software and procedures for Punjab Police’s public service delivery and general policing. It is world-class.

IGP stated that the provincial police team should fully support the anti-drug forces in arresting the declared criminals. He said that all the details of the defendant in the 9C drug case should be shared with ANF.
