Islamabad: American blogger and journalist Cynthia D Ritchie was taken to the hospital on Thursday after she was found unconscious in her apartment.

The police stated that Rich had been transferred to the hospital for treatment and added that more details would be known after the hospital issued her medical report.

Rich made headlines in June last year when she accused the senior PPP leader and former interior minister Rahman Malik of raping her and accused former Prime Minister Yusuf Razajrani of “roughly treating” her a few years ago.

Both Malik and Gilani refuted her accusations and said it was a conspiracy to slander the BJP.
