  • The police took the girl from Sahiwal back to Lahore.
  • The girl was transferred to the Punjab Child Protection and Welfare Bureau.
  • Waiting for a medical report to determine if they were raped.

A few days after minors were reported to be kidnapped, DIG’s investigation into Shalik Jamal said Thursday that all suspects involved in the kidnapping of four Lahore girls in the same neighborhood have been arrested.

Police officials said at a press conference in Lahore that all the suspects are being interrogated and that the police have visited the crime scenes in Lahore and Sahiwal and collected all evidence.

Jamal said the police had brought the girls back to Lahore from Sahiwal where they were sold “as part of a deal” to a man named Shehzad and another man.

Police officials said that Sahiwal police raided Shehzad’s brothel on August 3, found the girls there, and registered the case in the city.

Jamal said the girls appeared in court today with their consent and were later transferred to the Punjab Child Protection and Welfare Bureau (CPBW).

“This is an important case, and I thank God that we were able to rescue the girl safely because [the suspects] Want to use these girls to engage in extremely nasty business. “

In answering a question, he said that they were undergoing medical examinations and were being interviewed, but were waiting for a medical report to confirm the rape.

“We did not waste a second in this investigation,” the official said when asked if the police were negligent and delayed the matter.

In answering another question, Jamal said that these girls were “unhappy at home, which is why we sent them to the Child Protection Agency with their consent.”

The DIG investigation stated that it is unclear whether the suspect is holding more girls hostage. He said that if this is the case, they will all be recovered.

Jamal said that as the media continued to report the case, the suspect called the helpline number 15 through an unknown number. Afterwards, the Sahiwal police found the girls and handed them to the Lahore police.

The police said that earlier in the day, the main suspect Qasim disclosed shocking news to the investigation team.

In the initial interrogation, Qasim admitted that he sold one of the girls to Shehzad for 100,000 rupees, and that Shehzad reached a deal with another person in Sahiwal for 150,000 rupees.

Qasim said that he and the other suspects decided to hand the girls over to the police and therefore left a roadside in Sahiwal.
