After the terrible Islamabad murder, Therapy Works refutes the allegations

The famous counseling and psychotherapy center Therapy Works stated that after the murder of Noor Mukadam, they will take legal action against the media’s allegations of defamation against them.

After Noor was murdered in Islamabad, Therapy Works came under public scrutiny. Soon after the news of the murder was announced, it was revealed that the main suspect, Zahir Jaffer, was a certified psychotherapist at Therapy Works.

Many people now believe that the organization falsely claimed to be associated with an international certification body.

Since then, many people have raised their tragic experience with Therapy Works. On Saturday, Islamabad Deputy Commissioner Hamza Shafqaat announced the closure of Therapy Works through the following methods Twitter.

On Tuesday, Therapy Works issued a media statement on its Facebook page to refute these allegations.

Therapy Works wrote: “We are suffering from baseless acrimonious and baseless false accusations.” It also stated that these false accusations caused pain to students, staff, patients and their families.

Therapy Works stated that they stand with the families of the victims and “will spare no effort to assist in the investigation of this heinous crime, so as to punish the perpetrators in accordance with the law.”

However, Therapy Works did not comment on any aspect of the investigation, stating that it considered it inappropriate until the investigation was “completed.”

The organization added that as soon as circumstances permit, they will issue a detailed statement.

The center clarified that no Therapy Works staff was detained or arrested by the police.

The organization wrote: “Our international certificate/certification has been submitted to the relevant authorities for reading by our students.”

Therapy Works announced that the legal action they will take may be a “civil and criminal lawsuit against all persons who falsely slander the organization.”
