Each shooter played six series, five times in each group. Two series in eight seconds, two series in six seconds, and two series in four seconds.

According to the rules, in each series, each shooter shoots one shot at each of the five targets within the specified series time limit.

The 34-year-old Bashir is the national champion of Pakistan’s 25m rapid-fire pistol and the gold medalist of the team event at the South Asian Games. He is 8 seconds 99, 6 seconds 98, and 4 seconds 96.

Khalil scored 98, 96 and 92 in the 8.6 seconds and 4 seconds series, respectively.

The shooter will return to the Asaka shooting range in Tokyo at 4:30 am Pakistan time on Monday morning for the second phase. At the end of Phase 2, the top six shooters will be eligible to participate in the medal match.

Bashir, currently ranked No. 6, will commit to-at least-to keep this position in the second stage to confirm his place in the medal round.

In the medal match, which is also scheduled for Monday, the shooter will make 40 shots, the first shooter will be eliminated after the first 20 shots, and then the other will be eliminated every five shots.
