Multan: The first Amazon Fulfillment and Convenience Center (AFFC) in South Punjab will be completed in Multan after Eid, which will become a valuable channel for introducing and selling various Pakistani products on a global scale.

The Postmaster General (PMG) Zulfiqar Husnain said in an interview with APP on Thursday that the Federal Minister of Communications and Postal Services Murad Saeed (Murad Saeed) adopted the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan. Special measures.

He said that the Prime Minister has ordered the production of various Pakistani products-whether exporters or personal handmade products-to compete in the international market through as many channels as possible.

He said that the minister is working tirelessly to realize his wish for Pakistani products to enter Amazon, and Pakistan Post is working hard to achieve this goal.

PMG stated that most of the work of AFFC has been completed at the Dera Adda Post Office and it will start operations after Eid-ul-Azha.

Amazon warehouses will also be established there to meet the requirements of e-commerce stores.

Work is also underway to establish Amazon centers and warehouses in Bahawalpur and other areas of Southern Punjab.

He said that Multan officials are contacting the Multan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) to ensure that the handmade products of artisans in southern Punjab become Pakistani on the Amazon portal, and to ensure that local exporters, industrialists and traders can also Take advantage of the world’s largest registered online retail platform.

PMG stated that Amazon is the world’s largest market gateway, and the signatures made in Pakistan will be a major success for the government.

PMG stated that the initiative will not only bring much-needed foreign exchange revenue, but also increase Pakistan Post’s revenue.
