The Indian shooter failed to deliver again and missed the final of the men’s 10m air rifle competition

Rifle shooters Deepak Kumar and Divyansh Singh Panwar’s 2021 Olympic stay ended earlier than expected because the two failed to qualify for the finals of the men’s 10-meter air rifle competition at the Asaka Shooting Range on Sunday.

Deepak Kumar scored 102.9, 103.8, 103.7, 105.2, 103.8, and 105.3 consecutively, scoring a total of 624.7 points, ranking 26th. Divyansh also underperformed, slipping further down the 36th place ladder. He cast 102.7, 103.7, 103.6, 104.6, 104.6, 103.6 consecutively, scoring a total of 622.8 points.

Disappointingly, the two failed to reproduce their recent performance at the 2021 Olympics. The Indian shooting team trained for two months in Croatia to prepare for the Tokyo Olympics.
