“India must play Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal together in ODI”-VVS Laxman

Former Indian Cricketer VVS Laxman Think India must play Juzvindra Chahar with Kurdip Yadav Simultaneously with the ODI series in Sri Lanka.

Not long ago, Kuldeep Yadav was India’s primary spinner for ODI, and it was more effective in the presence of Yuzvendra Chahal. However, whenever India prefers him as the only professional spinning worker, his efficiency will decrease.

VVS Laxman emphasized that the rotation department is an area worthy of attention. He believes that these two wrist spinners should be played together in the upcoming Sri Lanka ODI. He also believes that the Indian team led by Shikhar Dhawan must donate blood to Tamil Nadu spinner Varun Chakravarthy in the T20Is.

“One of the problem areas in Indian cricket recently is the lack of efficiency of spinners. In this context, Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav must be played in series in a format of more than 50 times, and the shortest version uses Varun Chakravarthy of blood. All People are wickets, and their confidence will only increase if they regularly play, pass and pick up the wicket,” VVS Laxman wrote in his column for TOI.

VVS Laxman also welcomed the news that Hardik Pandya might play bowling in the upcoming series. The Indian all-rounder has not played much bowling since undergoing surgery, which also led to his being excluded from the England Test Tour in India.

Emphasizing the importance of speed bowling all-around players, VVS Laxman added:

“Hardik Pandya is also expected to play a role in ball control. This is a very welcome development. As a moderately paced all-around player, he provides India with an exciting and rare option. He and his brother Kruna You will be determined to establish their authority before the busy season.”

From July 18th to 29th, India and Sri Lanka will have three ODI and three T20Is duels at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
