In a statement issued here on Wednesday, SHC&MED Secretary Nabeel Ahmed said

Reflected in the 7,499 beds reserved for corona patients in all government hospitals, 6,576 beds are vacant. Similarly, the Lahore Government Hospital has reserved 1,555 beds and currently 1,327 beds are vacant. The secretary said that the department has arranged 3,327 beds in the isolation wards of all government hospitals in the province, of which 3,044 beds are vacant.

The secretary said that the health department has arranged 784 ventilators for corona patients in all hospitals of the provincial government, of which 180 ventilators are in use and 604 are unoccupied.

He said that the Lahore Hospital retains approximately 284 ventilators, of which 65 have been occupied and 213 ventilators are vacant.
