2021 MLB All-Star schedule: The era of home run derby, TV channels, futures and celebrity softball games

Since 2019, fans will have the opportunity to enjoy the celebration of the Midsummer Festival Classic for the first time.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, there is no all-star game, home run derby, celebrity softball game or futures game. But now in 2021, Coors Field in Denver, Colorado will once again host all events.

These events will be divided into several days. The home run derby brackets are announced on Wednesday, the futures game is scheduled to be held on Sunday with the start of the draft, the derby and softball game is scheduled for Monday and the home run-a star game scheduled for Tuesday.

2021 MLB All-Star schedule

Most All-Star celebrations will take place on ESPN, with the exception of the All-Star Futures game, which will be held on the MLB network at 3pm on Sunday.

The All-Star Celebrity Softball game will be held on the Sunday after the futures game, but will not be broadcast until after the ESPN home run derby on Monday night.

Those who wish to live stream events held on ESPN can listen ESPN+ or fuboTV provides a 7-day free trial. fuboTV will also allow fans to stream MLB networks.

Major League Baseball Home Run Derby Participants 2021

The home run derby will have eight players competing in a scaffolding style, trying to hit as many home runs as possible in four minutes. If the batter can send at least two baseballs more than 440 feet away, they will be able to add an additional 30 seconds to keep the swing. The four winners of the first round of confrontation will advance to the semi-finals and compete for seats in the finals.

2021 MLB All-Star Futures List

The first event of each All-Star Weekend is the futures game. Fans have the opportunity to watch the next wave of MLB geniuses to participate and show their skills on the big stage. Some of the most promising players in the game will show amazing fastballs, amazing speed on the base, impressive defensive instincts and power fluctuations.

This year, former Rocky third baseman Vinny Castilla will manage the National League team, and former Rocky Latroy Hawkins will manage the American League team.
