According to reports on Thursday, at least 14 people were killed and 26 were injured in various rain-related incidents in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province (KP).

According to a report from the Provincial Disaster Management Agency (PDMA) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, during the recent heavy rains and floods, at least 4 houses were completely destroyed and 21 houses were partially damaged.

14 people were killed and 26 were injured. PDMA has instructed the regional administrations in the affected areas to expedite rescue work.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department predicts that Abbottabad, Haripur, Mansela, Batagram, Tolhar, Kohistan, Shangra, Buner, Swat, Lower Dir and Upper Dir, Bajaur, Malakand, Gitlar, Mardan, Swabi, Nocera, Peshawar, Chalsada, Mohmand, Khyber, Kohart, Hangu, Karnataka Raq, Kulam, Orakzai, Bannu, Rakimarvat, Dihan, Tanks and South Waziristan areas.

It warned that moderately heavy rainfall may cause flash floods in open channels and streams in these areas, and cause landslides and urban floods in different parts of the province.
