Islamabad: According to the daily report of the Pakistan National Command and Operations Center, the number of coronavirus cases in Pakistan has continued to decline, with the positive rate in the past 24 hours being less than 2%.
The current national positive rate is 1.9%.
According to NCOC data, as many as 39 people have died from the coronavirus in the past 24 hours, bringing the national death toll to 21,913.
The NCOC said on Twitter that there were 1,043 new infections in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases nationwide to 946,227. A new infection was reported after 54,647 tests were performed.
The number of active cases has reached 37,985, and the national recovery rate has risen to 888,505.
Earlier this week, the number of active COVID-19 cases in Pakistan fell below 40,000 for the first time since March 24. On March 24, the number of active cases was 37,985.
